The couple stayed in the Catahoula Hotel suite they would be wed on the balcony of, so the morning of their elopement, they just had to wake up and get ready. Each had their hair and make-up done and got themselves dressed before 11am, leaving the two of them essentially “all dressed up with no where to go” — completely ready 1 hour early in their hotel room. Kim started to spend this hour pacing nervously, so Juliet decided a pre-ceremony glass of champagne was needed to calm the nerves.

I met them in the hotel room and by 12.30pm, they were officially married on the little hotel balcony with only a few tears shed. Myself and the officiant were the only witnesses, and once the officiant said his goodbyes, it was time for a toast on the balcony!

Once we finished up at the hotel, we took the streetcar to Peche for oysters and meandered around New Orleans celebrating with champagne.
